The role

We are looking for a Business Operations Director reporting to the COO who is passionate about building the operational infrastructure for our global organization. Homez’s Business Operations will lead a wide range of initiatives, work cross-functionally across the organization to improve operational efficiency, and support a variety of stakeholders (Design, Product, Customer Support, Operations, and Sales). The Business Operation Director’s main focus will be to identify challenges, create a roadmap to resolution, implement changes, and ensure that all business functions are in line with Homez’s strategic goals.

In this role you will

  • Drive operational excellence to support the execution of the company goals, including the company’s OKR and work plan,  project prioritization, resource planning/allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
  • Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans.
  • Analyze and utilize the organizational data to improve existing or create new operational processes. 
  • Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with those business leaders.
  • Follow up with department heads to ensure proper execution of Homez’s work plan.
  • Define and streamline business processes in Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to support the company's hyper-growth including the implementation of relevant information systems.
  • Manage and curate Homez’s playbook as one source of truth for the entire organization.


  • Previous experience as a Business Operations Manager/ Director or in a similar role.
  • Experience with forecasting models.
  • Data and detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to translate business needs into processes and systems.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
