The role
Homez is looking for an experienced, collaborative, and result-driven Architect to join the growing Homez team based in Tel Aviv. This role will lead the architectural planning of a project and the production of design products such as design presentations, design procurement, and deployments of our global move-in apartments. Homez’s design Lead will ensure each design concept will have an emphasis on aesthetics, function, well-being and market orientation and be in alignment with Homez's design playbook.
In this role you will
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, local and global, from concept through completion of fully furnished apartments, according to the Homez brand standards and playbook.
- Take part in Homez’s design planning team for long-term signature projects.
- Be responsible for high-volume architectural and design deliverables, such as furniture plans, Electricity, and lighting plans, Carpentry bids, etc.
- Collaborate with various departments in our team such as project management, procurement, sales, operation, etc.
- Work with various architectures, designers, and furniture suppliers, building true and significant relationships to design global and localized locations.
- Translate design concepts into beautiful, digestible furnished apartments. Keep projects on track, and expertly manage personal workflow, schedule, deadlines, and budget.
- Be part of Homez’s sustainable initiatives and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or interior design.
- A portfolio showcasing strengths in architecture, interior space planning, and home styling while using design software.
- 3+ years of experience at an architecture or design firm.
- Experience in residential/hospitality projects- advantage
- Experience in creating and understanding a full construction set including Ceiling, Electricity, lighting, millwork layouts, etc.
- Knowledgeable in sustainability principles-advantage
- Highly collaborative, organized, a self-starter, and a quick learner.
- Great interpersonal skills and highly motivated team player.
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Suite, Revit & Autocad.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both English and Hebrew.
